1. He's a normal kid
If not for the zombie outbreak, Charlie would've lived a seemingly normal life, albeit whiny and angsty, but he would've been fine. If anything, he might have a bit of a personality disorder

2. He has a hard time talking to people
If put in a conversation he doesn't want to be in, he'll simply lie his way out of it. He has a very hard time talking about things that make him appear weak or sensitive

3. He was abused as a child
Brian emotionally abused him by constantly putting him down and insulting him, while his grandfather had sexually abused him at one time, also

and geez, how long have these two been living together now? creepy.

okay, and with the title... i know i usually go for word play/ puns, BUT I POSIT that this is still wordplay, and i liked the title for 3 reasons XD 1. it's funny because brian is plagued with nightmares, 2. pleasant dreams can describe going to sleep, therefore an 'end' to the day, like the comic is ending and 3. pleasant dreams can also be something you say to someone who has died. people are going to die in this round.

Aah, you draw Sarah so well! Also, I agree with Oly-RRR: you're style and skills have evolved so much over course of DD. You've always been really good, of course (I just re-read your round 1 for, like, the tenth time. Nostalgia, every time C': ), but there has been in a wonderful change in your style that has made it even better.

Also, come on Michael, give Brian some time. Obviously he's just shaving or something because there's a policewoman waiting for him :3c
